Focus on the Nutrition Health & Longevity Cluster

Nutrition Health & Longevity cluster The Nutrition Health & Longevity cluster brings together food industry companies, biotech businesses, private and public research centres

Federating main theme: Prevention via nutrition and treatment of metabolic disorders, cardiovascular and ageing-related diseases.

R&D themes

Formulation and development of foods and functional ingredients

Improving the quality of food products, particularly through industrial processing processes (quality of their nutritional composition, preventing the occurrence of allergens, etc.)

Identifying, then validating new biological targets, selecting molecules likely to act on such targets, with preventive or therapeutic action, assessing their effectiveness, action mechanisms and their toxicity, their impact on the population(epidemiology and clinical research)

Controlling their synthesis and integration into a food, ingredient or drug

Developing and improving suitable preventive practices
