Dunkirk

Norfolkline’s Dunkirk-Dover Ro-Ro service to the UK
Inaugurated in 2000, NORFOLKLINE’s Dunkirk-Dover roll-on roll-off ferry line has not ceased to expand with the constant policy of meeting the needs of hauliers, lorry drivers and passenger-car drivers.
The replacement of the ferries originally operating on that line by new Ropax ferries that are ideally adapted to that route and combine speed, comfort and stability, enables Norfolkline to offer the following:
- Up to 12 crossing each day, from each port;
- An optimal crossing time of only 1 hour 50 minutes;
- An increased carrying capacity, each of the new ships being able to take 120 freight units, 200 cars and 780 passengers.
Delphis Channel Connect
The Delphis Channel Connect (DCC) line, inaugurated in late 2005 by the feedering company Delphis, ensure a regular link between Dunkirk’s Container Terminal with the ports of Le Havre, Felixstowe and Rotterdam.
The purpose of this line is to facilitate the organization of transport for small lots of containers or individual containers from and to Dunkirk to and from other seaports of the North European range.
The service provided by DCC includes at least one call a week at Dunkirk, on Tuesdays. Combined feeder and river barge transport offers are available jointly with Nord Container Service (NCS), the provider of inland waterway container transport from and to Dunkirk.
